How to measure your Belgian Malinois dog for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- For buckled collar when you specify neck size we will make a collar fit on central hole.
- There will be totally 5 holes and distance between each 2 holes is 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example: your dog's neck size is 20 inch (50 cm). A collar will fit on central hole at 20 inch (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm).
- There will be 2 bigger size holes - 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm).
- There will also be tip of the collar after last hole about 2 inch long (5 cm).
- Those are handcrafted collars and some sizes will differ a little (not in significant way).
- Two ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
As this collar is made of nylon, it is strong, non-stretching, resistant to water, chemicals, fungi, mold, insects etc. This material doesn’t need special care and saves its original shape for a long time. The collar strap is well stitched to serve as longer as possible.
At its edges this All Weather Nylon Dog Collar has rows of silver spikes. They are hand set with rivets and plated with nickel. The buckle and D-ring also have nickel covering that protects them from rust. The area near the buckle is secured with rivets.
Using a spiked collar for controlling your Belgian Malinois remember that it is unsuitable for training sessions or playing with the other pets or children, because while close contact sharp spikes can harm somebody. And it is recommended not to leave a dog wearing a spiked collar without control.
